We spent time relaxing on the decks, and it was a short walk to the beach. Dave was responsive and quick to any questions. They were super thoughtful with extra amenities. The wagon was especially helpful when we were taking things to the beach. They have a great selection of games and there is a lot of space for people to hang out. We were delighted to discover that the house was as lovely as it appeared in the photos. The house is well decorated and had everything we needed to make our vacation comfortable. Since we were traveling with a four-year-old and an infant, the easy access to the beach and the availability of a wagon were greatly appreciated. The view of the canal from the back decks was stunning. My son set up his scope to watch birds every day. We like being on the quiet side of Oak Island. The house itself was very quiet - when we were downstairs, we could not hear people talking on the second floor. We would definitely reserve this house if we return to Oak Island. Being a both a short walk to the beach and a kayak launch site was wonderful. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. David was a great host and very responsive. The upstairs kitchen and living area are great for families looking to eat and gather together. Location to the beach was an easy walk, less than 5 minutes to the access point. It had everything we needed for the beach and some fun games to play.
