The living area was very comfortable. I am not the biggest fan of older homes (the creaky stairs here in the front bothered me and the smallest bedroom was older) but the updates made up for the home being older. The location is fantastic as far as right on the water and close to more of the popular towns in the area. We enjoyed our stay! It is equipped with most things you need to cook, relax and beach! We would definitely recommend it for family gatherings. Situated only a mile or so from Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. The heating and cooling though was a little wonky as the house was either really cold or hot and you didn't have the ability to adjust much. Kitchen could use a bit of upgrading as there is a lack of standard appliances and things e.g. scissors, knives, blender. Several of the key amenities were missing/not working. The roofdeck firepit did not work which was disappointing in the cool evenings. The 12 beach chairs advertised were not there, nor beach towels. 3 of the bathroom towel racks/rings could not hold a towel without falling off. Kitchen tools were spare and no wine glasses in a house on Martha's Vineyard! The roofdeck grill was dirty from use but we bought a grill brush and did it ourselves. Only way to communicate issues was through chatbot with limited results - we ended up getting beach towels, but nothing else was addressed while we were there. ##### Frank C.
