We weren't expecting much because it was cheap but we're pleasantly surprised! The decor is trendy and welcoming. The service from the young guy working there was very warm and welcoming too. It felt like we were catching up with an old friend we haven't seen in a while :) The room is small (as expected for a hostel and the price) but it was very cute with restored floor boards and a little desk. The thing we loved the most was the view! It was beautiful to wake up to!!! This was a little gem to find and we would definitely stay there again! This place has the potential to hit a 5 ANY day of the week. Big call, considering we paid more per night here than ANY other Hotel we stayed at over a 2 week trip. The only down side was the staff and their attitude. The refusal to provide housekeeping, despite the booking confirmation clearly stating daily house keeping is something I can live with IF a management decision has been made. But the repeated attempt to justify and explain its our mistake was a little hard to swallow. Their explanation- we only clean a room just before a new guest arrives. That being the case I’m glad we booked and didn’t just turn up (and risk being put in an uncleanness room.) I’d recommend a basic course on custom service.
