North Point Nature Preserve Tours and Activities

There was never any facility available!? When we arrived via GPS, could not contact anyone or see any evidence of a room and/or cabin for us to stay in? Phone posted on a door was not in service.

Beautiful property. Room was nice and clean. Staff was great. Location to town was perfect. Delicious restaurant at the hotel.

It does take 45 minutes by horse carriage to get from Shepler's Ferry to Stonecliffe. It's the farthest hotel from the ferry on the island and cost the most by all taxis. If you get over stimulated by large crowds, Stonecliffe is the perfect place. The property and rooms are well kept and all the staff is very friendly. Bike rental looked like a nightmare to rent from downtown with long lines and choatic crowds. We were glad we were just able to rent ours from the hotel general store where we just walked up and got ours. There's plenty access to hiking trails and the Woods restaurant is just a few minutes walk away.
