The the thermostat had very limited options, I couldn’t even turn the HVAC off! It was too cold when I was up and setting around and not cold enough when I was sleeping! Other wise all was good! The rooms were newly remodeled and the staff were all excellent! Management did step in and find me a room where the HVAC worked better and they comped me breakfast every day for the inconvenience!"Reviewed October 30, 2026Roundtrip • Montreal (YUL) - London (LHR)YUL - LHR • 1 stop LGW - YUL • 1 stopCA $3,837CA $2,740found 2 hours agoper traveller - 130 Queen's Gate Apartments

Ninfield Hotel Deals
"Great stay"
"Great value, great staff and great breakfast. Was slightly disappointed as we had a couple of issues in the room, which we reported, but nobody came to sort it out."
"We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet. A fan was available in the room which helped during the heatwave. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No wardrobe but hooks on the wall and hangers for clothes which was ok as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable."
"A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again."
"Weather was great went to visit my grandchildren who live nearby pod was great could do with a good clean on outside and decking was abit wobbly would come again good price for what it was the bed really clean toilets and showers considering how many people on site"

"Spa facilities poorly maintained wood splitting in sauna, no steam room very small pool and small dirty changing facilities. Inadequate gym facilities literally 1 treadmill Old dirty carpet and room smelled old. Tv was inadequate old 1st generation TV. Terrible WiFi signal Reception staff friendly but catering staff not. No food available after 9.30pm no amenities or facilities around to overcome this. Would not recommend staying unless just going to specifically play golf"
