It is a nice hotel - old of course - but rustic and really nice if you like old castle vibes. Some "old" smell in our room and bathrooms could need some upgrade. Excellent food and very nice and friendly personnel. However very hard to reach the hotel by phone. Online booking of restaurant reservation worked however just fine. Surroundings are very nice.

Beautiful place. The rooms is nice but the smell was horrible (old and moldy). The carpets the curtins and the furnitures need af steem cleaning. Unfortunatly this destroyd the whoe stay for me. I will not come back.

The beds were bad and the room smelled musty and stuffy. There were signs of water ingress and mold. We can't in any way recommend staying in a family room at this accommodation.

Staff was very nice and helpful but actual castle can use some TLC. It was very quiet for me where I felt little scared in the building. Breakfast was good though. Light in the rooms are on sensor I believe and whole night they kept coming off which scared me even more. I kept TV on all night to distract ourselves.

Rengøring Ok. Sengen fin. Og personalet venligt. Men. Skiltningen til receptionen er mørkelagt efter solen er gået ned, så det er ret svært at finde ud af at receptionen er omme i gården om aftenen. Specielt irriterende i regnvejr. Da mobildækningen er elendig, bør der i det mindste være velungerende Wifi til stede på værelset. Det tog mig 12 minutter at logge på virk.dk med MitID, da forbindelsen heltiden røg og TV(det på værelset) og streaming er afhængig af netværk. Den del fungerer bare ikke her. Både belysning af skiltning og et anstændigt Wifi, er nemme ting at ordne. Så det burde være fikset for længst.

Store Restrup er utroligt charmerende og autentisk slot med helt fantastisk stemning og super god service. Værelserne (suite) er tro mod stedet og rene og pæne og velfungerende. Maden er god og man skal huske at sætte tid af til at drikke eftermiddagskaffe i nogle af stuerne og eventuelt udendørs.

Jeg havde reserveret to dobbeltværelser i hovedbygningen. Da vi ankom var det andre værelser, vi fik tildelt - palæ 40-42. Værelserne og møblerne var iskolde. Selv om radiatoren blev skruet op på 5, forblev den iskold. Det venlige personale i receptionen kunne ikke hjælpe os med varmen. Det var en meget dårlig oplevelse.

En ubeskrivelig dårlig oplevelse

Anmoder om refusion for 3 overnatninger. Store Restrup Slotshotel jul. 25 kl. 15:00 PM - jul. 29 kl. 11:00 AM Rejseplansnummer: 72064446187917 Efter at have set værelset bad jeg om opgradering til et andet værelse, blev afslået idet vi havde hund med. Vi rejste efter 1 overnatning: værelset lugtede af gammel røg, gulvet var så skævt at man blev svimmel og mistede balancen, både min mand og undertegnede har af forskellige årsager balance udfordringer, måtte sove på gulvet nær døren hvor gulvet var plant, har foto af dette. Køkkenet var lukket idet kokken ikke havde personale, kunne ikke købe hverken vådt eller tørt, ikke så meget som noget at drikke. Indgang til værelset var møgbeskidt. Generelt bar omgivelserne præg af misligholdelse, langt fra forestilling om et slotshotel. Afventer at høre fra jer. med VH Rie Brandenborg

Gennemgående dårlig oplevelse

Da vi ankom og fik værelset viste det sig at det ikke var blevet gjort rent. Vi fik et andet værelse som var yderst dårligt vedligeholdt, da bl.a. halvdelen af lamperne ikke virkede. Hotellet informerede os ved ankomst om at der altid var åbent om natten hvis man kom sent tilbage, dette var bare ikke og det tog en halv time før nogen kom og låste op. Morgenmaden var yderst lav kvalitet og servicet var ikke helt rent. Den var desuden ganske dyr.

Super romantisk hotel.

Super romantisk ophold. Skønt og rigtig hyggeligt hotel med fantastisk morgenmad. Hotellet er lidt slidt udenpå, men indenfor oser det af historie og hygge. Alt det de "moderne" kolde "just sleep" hoteller ikke er.
