You're not in Key West - but in Black Point Beach Club, a private community here in charming Niantic on the Connecticut shoreline !

A newly remodeled Beach Cottage with all the amenities, including a brand new HVAC Central Air Unit for extra comfort... Galley Kitchen with a spacious Living Room includes two fireplaces... Two Bedrooms can accommodate up to 8 people and includes illuminated Cedar Closets... Large Pottery Barn 6-drawer Dressers, LG Smart TVs with ROKU streaming sticks, and gorgeous Ellington Surfboard Lighted Ceiling Fans... The Main Bedroom has a Pottery Barn Queen Bed along with a Twin Bunkbed... The Second Bedroom includes a Pottery Barn Full Bed and Twin Bed.

Living Room includes a large sofa and two comfortable Lounge Chairs... Two Queen Air Mattresses are available if needed as well ! Dining area has a large, beautiful hand-painted Farmhouse Table, 3 chairs, along with built-in bench seating... The Galley Kitchen has a nice round table that can seat up to 3 people. One Full Bath with a Heated Jacuzzi Hot Tub... Maytag Washer & Dryer is available in the Basement...

The Outdoor area includes a huge, private fenced-in yard for your Pets and Children to enjoy... A beautiful large organic lawn without any chemicals to ensure that your loved ones can play in a very safe and healthy environment... Also includes a spacious heated Outdoor Shower and a Tool Shed for safe storage. The Patio and Deck area includes a 4-person Hot Tub with Bubble Jets to enjoy after a long day at the beach - available from April-October.

Back yard includes two Picnic Tables & Tiki Umbrellas; a Weber Gas Grill; Plenty of chairs and smaller tables for dining; a Children's Playscape & Swing Set - integrated with a brand new carpeted Dog House for your pets and kids to enjoy with comfort,,, Also includes a portable fire pit to enjoy during the evening hours under tree lights throughout the yard. Finally, the property has a large 3-car concrete driveway for you and your guests to park in.

Our Private Beach Club includes 3 main beaches, spacious Clubhouse, Tennis Courts, Basketball Court, and our famous Black Point Grocery Market.. Only a 5-minute drive to downtown Niantic with all sorts of quaint shops, bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions - especially our famous Boardwalk that spans our shoreline beach areas !

In close proximity to Rocky Neck & Hammonasset Beach State Parks, Connecticut College, US Coast Guard Academy, Mystic Seaport & Aquarium, Gillette Castle, Essex Steam Train, Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun Casinos, Block Island Ferry, as well as a multitude of local wineries, breweries, golf courses, shops, restaurants - and of course, charter fishing !

Joe communicated with us ahead of our reservation, making sure we were set for our arrival and entry into the property. He takes pride in his property making an impressive effort to decorate the inside and outside for the holidays. We were welcomed with some treats for the humans and our two hound dogs!

Extended stay in Niantic

We stayed at Joe’s property for over two weeks, and we absolutely loved it! My dogs enjoyed the spacious yard, happily exploring the area surrounded by a charming picket fence. We appreciated the short walks to the various nearby beaches and enjoyed admiring all the beautiful homes in the area.Upon our arrival, Joe greeted us with delicious cookies and had thoughtfully prepared everything we might need, including dog treats, beds, water, and bowls in case we forgot anything. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and even suggested additional beaches for us to visit beyond those already available to us.I would definitely stay here again; it was a wonderfully relaxing experience.Have a great day! Whimsical, lovely home for our stay

This home and property are really cutely designed and decorated. The house is older, but very well maintained and has really unique decor. From beach to Holiday to mid-century modern it made us smile every time we walked in the door. The yard was wonderful for our dogs and the amenities were really pretty great for the price. The neighborhood is very walkable and there’s even a little store situated in the middle of the neighborhood. Run by a family with children. It was such a nice surprise. We would love to stay here again.

Super cute & fun get away

This house was great for our family & there were lots of nice touches, like the playground in the yard, the board games & cookies, and all the lights and decorations. Our kids also loved the jetted tub! The beach is a short walk away and there's a community center down the block with a larger playground and tennis courts. Perfect spot for families like ours!

We had such a great experience here! Joseph was so gracious and responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay great. His place is so cute with a mix of whimsical and really convenient touches. Our dog loved the yard, too! The neighborhood is gorgeous, too. Joe's Beach Cottage is Wonderful

My husband and I really enjoyed our vacation in East Lyme/Niantic CT. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. Niantic is nice w/great restaurants and the best used book store I've ever experienced! Joe was very nice and answered all of our questions and keeps a lovely house.

It's Christmas all year and we loved it! So so cozy. From my elderly mom to my toddler everyone was happy. Kids lived the playground and we loved how easy and comfortable the house was. Joe also left us delicious cookies from a local bakery. Thank you Joe!!!

Renter Beware

From check-in (beds not made, lawn not mowed) to old and uncomfortable furniture (covered in heavy blankets and stained pillows with stuffing falling out), to old food in the refrigerator from multiple past renters, to showers lined with past renters soaps, shampoos, razors; to mouse infested laundry area (in basement), we ended up staying 4 days out of a 3 week rental although we paid for the entire time. We were fortunate to have family near by to stay with. Extremely disappointed.

Lovely, well maintained property. Short walk to the shoreline and the neighborhood market (which has great coffee, muffins, shakes, etc). The fenced yard was wonderful for the dogs. Serene and quiet but friendly neighborhood. Excellent communication with property owner and easy check-in/out. Everything was as described on the site and it made for a wonderful weekend getaway!

Christmas cottage

My daughter graduated from coast guard academy so we were staying for several days. The cottage is located in black point in Niantic. So close to the ocean. The cottage was adorably decorated, and very comfortable. Plenty of beds to accommodate a bigger group. Slept very well in comfortable bed. The owner had left some bagels and muffins for us as well. Small but nice kitchen with plenty of room for a family to sit at larger table. My favorite is proximity to water and the daily multiple walks. Neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Close to Main Street shops and restaurants and an easy drive over to the academy.

Cottage by the ocean

This was such a cute place. We visited in spring where everything is just start to bloom the yard was fenced in so great for dogs, with a cute play place for kids. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. We walked several of the streets and meet a few friendly neighbors. The host was fantastic checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean, Air with lots of windows and light. We spent time playing board games and reconnect. Definitely would come the area again and stay here.

Quick get away

Very nice house and location. Loved the decor especially the bubble nightlights. The host was easy to reach and the neighborhood was perfect for walking our dog. The beds could use a little updating but, otherwise, it was a perfect weekend. Highly recommend.

Wonderful visit

I am familiar with the area of Niantic it's a lovely quaint area and it's wonderful off season. So my sibling and I were there and we brought our dog and it's lovely that this location is pet friendly. So my doggy had free reign of the backyard the house was awesome decorated to the gills for the holiday season between holiday and beach theme it was just fabulous it was warm it was cozy at great communication with Mr Kelly before and at the time of my stay. It was wonderful I'd be happy to return again and I highly recommend this location for a visit:-)

Easy family vacay

The weather turned out great, walking distance to beach perfect. Fenced in yard was great for dogs. Grandsons enjoyed the swings in yard and at the club. And jetted tub, bubbles yay! Plenty of space for everyone, games and cards also supplied…..wish we stayed longer. Probably will be back maybe for a girls’ weekend.👍👍
