Just 10 miles away, the picturesque harbour town of Padstow makes a wonderful day out. Here you can dine at one of Rick Stein’s renowned restaurants, visit the historic Prideaux Place, cycle along the scenic Camel Trail to Wadebridge, or take the ferry across to Rock for easy access to the sandy beaches at Daymer Bay and Polzeath. For water sports enthusiasts, the Extreme Academy/Wavehunters at Watergate Bay is a must-visit. Golfers will find several excellent courses within a few short miles drive including Mawgan Porth's very own golf course with clubhouse.
