The kitchen and bathrooms are nicely updated and included all that we needed. It took a bit to cool the rooms off since they have window ac rather than central air. Communication with the host was almost as if he was family. He was very attentive! Weeks before we checked in, he added some items to the house to make our stay more comfortable, based on some questions I had asked him. There was a slight hiccup with the house cleaning crew that I alerted him to very late on Saturday evening when we checked in and by 0900 Sunday morning, Mother’s Day, the issue was resolved! The house is perfectly located, especially if you are attending events at the USCGA. It is within walking distance, so you do not have to potentially miss events by going to the mall and catching the bus… USCGA families, you know what I’m talking about! The house is a short drive to downtown New London, Mystic, the train station… Perfect, perfect location! The house itself is very spacious with not a lot of clutter. It was so easy to move in and stay for a week and move out. There were plenty of sleeping spaces , and each night we had 10 staying the night, and EVERYONE was comfortable. This house is outfitted with everything you need to make meals, host a dinner, do laundry… Our son visited other USCGA graduates’ rental houses, and stated that ours was… By far THE BEST!
