There is air conditioning throughout the apartment. The whole apartment has just been repainted and has good quality cutlery, crockery, linen, etc..There is a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer. The terrace has been relaid and there is modern terrace furniture including 2 sunloungers and a gas Barbeque. The apartment, is spacious and well equipped with magnificent views overlooking the sea and Burriana Beach from the master bedroom, living room and the south facing terrace. The Capistrano Playa complex is well-maintained & includes two swimming pools, a restaurant, bar, ornamental lake and tropical gardens. It is located within a short walk of Nerja centre, with the palm-lined promenade of the Balcon de Europa, many excellent restaurants and cafes. From the apartment, there are steps down to Burriana Beach below the apartment. There is a lift to the apartment which makes access from the street very easy (less than 20 steps up and down). Wifi is free. There are 2 sets of golf clubs in the garage should you wish to play golf, just ask our agent for the key. There are three golf clubs within 25 minutes. Baviera Golf is about 15 minutes west of Nerja, and is a very good layout. They often have deals for 2 people including a buggy. Further west is Anoreta Golf, also a good layout but slightly more difficult. Again, they do good value deals for 2 with a buggy, especially if booked online. On the beach at Motrils there is a less exciting golf course, it a bit flat and uninteresting. You will need to bring shoes, balls and tees etc but feel free to use the clubs. Nerja: Nerja is on the Mediterranean coast some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, in a hire car it should take less than one hour from the airport on a modern motorway. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 22,000\. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing, tennis and there is a golf course (Burriana Golf) less than 15 minutes away. The town is flanked to the east by the beautiful, dramatic, mountain range, Sierra Almijara. We did venture up to the pool one day but it was closed (you could access it and some people were using it but sunbeds had been packed away). Both the apartment and the complex are immaculately kept and cared for. The sea views from the terrace are what brought us back. The terrace itself is very spacious so you can spend days there lounging In the sun. We had great views of the fireworks the night of the San Juan festival.The facilities in the apartment are second to none and the recent upgrades really do make this feel like a home from home, we particularly appreciated the addition of the air fryer! I would definitely recommend this property, either for a base to explore or for a beach holiday. The view from the terrace was perfect, the beach and pool were great…once we had found our way there and back! Felt like we should have left a breadcrumb trail, so many little stairwells to choose from! The apartment was clean and well-equipped but you definitely need a certain level of fitness get the most out of Nerja! ##### Nicola T. When we called the property manager, she was rude and asked if we did not have ants in our country. Was told to go get some bug spray. The owner of the property did apologize. After going and buying bug spray and treating the apartment, we were able to enjoy it. The balcony offers a great view of the sea and is a highlight of the accommodation. From the main bedroom you can hear the sea so it's very relaxing. It is close to bars and restaurants and is about half an hour walk to Nerja old town- although this does involve a steepish climb up from Burriana beach. There is only one supermarket within walking distance that we could find and it's pretty expensive. If we came again we'd probably hire a car as the apartment is located on a development with many steps and was a bit of a walk with cases from the bus station. That said, the apartment was so nice we stayed there a lot of the time, particularly as the weather was beautiful and the terrace is in full sun, making it the perfect location for sunbathing. We'd have no hesitation in recommending the apartment and would love to return some day. ##### Caroline P. The view from the balcony of both the sea and tranquil pool was stunning. The gardens are beautiful and fragrant. The villa had everything you would need for your stay and was all on one level. Charming décor and relaxing beach vibe. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be back! ##### Simla B.
