Its position at the tip of Neavitt fishing village’s peninsula affords breathtaking sunset views of Chesapeake bay at the font of the property and spellbinding sunrises above Choptank River at the back. This destination is set to exceed your expectations! The Space: Inside the main residence are three suites and one bedroom on the first floor, two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor, open plan kitchen with waterfall marble island, breakfast room, family bathroom, river room with vaulted ceiling, tv room, dining room, two feature fireplaces, shower room, powder room, mudroom, games room, pantry and reception room. Nearly every room enjoys water views. The residence can easily accommodate as many as 12 guests and offers the following private sleeping quarters: • Master waterfront suite: queen bed, full bath, freestanding tub, French doors to deck and walk-in closet • Pool and waterfront suite: king bed, full bath, French doors to pool, and walk-in closet • Oak tree suite: a queen bed, adjoining bathroom, and walk in closet •. Sewing room: a queen bed. • Second floor bedroom one: three single beds and trundle bed • Second floor bedroom two: a queen bed and single day bed/chaise lounge Outside is where the magic really happens with sun decks on each side of the property to relax and enjoy the water views, enjoy crabbing and prepare your catch in the crab shack, sit at the end of the dock and fish, or read your favorite book in one of the hammocks under the scented pine trees at the waters edge or simply unwind in the Adirondack chairs at the water's edge and watch the wildlife – eagles, osprey, heron, deer. For the more active members of your group there are two kayaks to explore the shoreline and discover the submerged island and the statue of Nelson, or enjoy a bike ride around the grounds, Neavitt fishing village, play ground, park and post office. Enjoy campfires around the fire pit and swimming in the pool, Frisbee, croquette and racket games on the lawns. For the more adventurous why not bike or kayak to St. Michaels or Tilghman Island on scenic flat roads or undulating waters. If the weather keeps you inside the games room will keep children and adults entertained with a pool table, ping pong, foosball, and more! The house has a really functional kitchen so we were able to cook a lot of meals here. The pool was perfect for young swimmers (decent sized shallow end) and we loved hanging out on the dock, crabbing and kayaking. We had 3 teens, a 20-something, and mom & dad. We have never stayed at a property that had so much to offer, especially for the kiddos. They kayaked, paddle-boarded, used the sauna, played pool & ping-pong, and biked. There wasn’t a need to be on their phones or social media unless they were posting pics of the fun they were having. Everything was just like the web pictures. The setting is spectacular, the house exceptionally clean, the pool area perfect for relaxing. There are about 5 or 6 Kayaks / Paddle Boards in the Crab Shack, and 7 or 8 bikes and helmets in the detached garage. The ping pong table was a huge hit as was the Corn Hole. Many hours were spent relaxing in the hanging chairs under the wisteria. The wine cooler in the pool house, another one in the mudroom by the ice machine, plus a third one in the breakfast nook in addition to the big ones in the kitchen and garage provided all the convenient food and beverage storage you could ask for. However, there was no warning about the flies that stayed with us on property - inside and outside of the house. After 2 full days of trying to kill flies inside the house and being unable to sit outside, we contacted the property guest manager for assistance. When the problem was explained, her response was welcome to the eastern shore of Maryland - the further south you go, the worse the flies are. She offered to go to Lowes and pick up some insect repellent - which she did and delivered the products to us. I wish we would have seen a review addressing the flies at this property while I was going through the booking process. One other issue we had a problem with throughout our stay was tripping on the step-ups/downs in the kitchen - different heights of flooring. Although beautiful, quiet, and peaceful, it is a 20-minute drive to any restaurant, grocery store, etc. Also, as advertised the property had only one tv, but there was no cable for it. ##### Gwen C. No power room. If you had to use a bathroom you had to go into one of the bedroom bathrooms. The outside of the house was amazing. The view was spectacular. The pool area was delightful.
