About this property
Walk to Nashville | Hot Tub, Creek Views & Cozy Log Cabin 2BR , 2BA
This delightfully cozy two bedroom (4-person) historic log cabin is just a “hop, skip and jump” from downtown Nashville, yet has a private setting perched high on a 2-acre wooded lot overlooking a creek. Both the huge front deck and the back hot tub deck provide tree house like views. The owner’s joy of antiques and fun “quirky uniques” shows through in this beautifully decorated cabin that was totally renovated in winter 2016.
Both the main floor and upstairs bedrooms have queen beds and on suite bathrooms. The kitchen and dining room features rustic beams and opens up to the living room with a fireplace (gas logs) and a large bank of windows providing lots of sunlight and wonderful views.
The location is extra special in that it is only one mile out of town and two miles from the Brown County Music Center.
You’ll be part of nature in the private setting which is perched on a small bluff overlooking a babbling creek. The two decks take full advantage of this beautiful setting.
The back deck’s hot tub provides a relaxing setting to soak up the views. There is a grill off the back patio and a camp fire pit for sharing stories and creating new Brown County memories

Cabin very clean and spacious. Very close to Nashville. Cabin in secluded and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our time away from hectic schedule. Time went too fast.
This cabin was perfect for 4 people and was spotless. It was very comfortable and the setting is spectacular. The hot tub was awesome too. We saw a family of deer in the yard as we were enjoying our coffee one morning. It feels secluded but is SO close to downtown Nashville. I highly recommend staying here!
I stayed at this cute cabin for a couple days with a couple of friends for a weekend getaway. It was perfect for what we needed as we were there mainly to hit some wineries and do wine tastings. It was a perfect location and management was very accommodating when I told them I'd arrive after office hours onky there to sleep. The olace was
We came to Nashville IN to see a concert at the music center. This cottage was about 15 min from then venue, so it worked out nicely. It was also close to town to shop and have drinks or dinner. It listed as ‘only a mile from town’. This may be accurate, but it is not a walkable mile. As the roads are country, narrow and it would be too dark at night to walk. Otherwise, we enjoyed the property and our stay in Nashville.
The cabin was perfect for a little get away. Super close to Nashville but remote enough to enjoy the quiet outside in the hot tube. The cabin was super cute. Love how it was decorated and was so cozy. It was clean. We would recommend it to anyone. It had everything you’d need for a stay.
It was just as described/pictured! Great place that was close to everything we wanted to do while still feeling quiet and tucked away. Would love to come back again!
The cabin was everything that we were looking for! It was comfortable and cozy. We also liked that it was close to the downtown. The hosts were amazing because they left a nice little keepsake for us to take home.
This was the first time we rented a cabin. It was wonderful! The setting is up on a hill overlooking a creek. It is really close to the shops, but far enough away you're out in the country. We loved the rustic decor and the floor plan. The upstairs bedroom was unique with wood everywhere. We were able to utilize the deck and the fire pit. It was a joy to be out in nature!
I am glad that people leave reviews. They are so telling. We base where we stay on them. This was another 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stay.
We tried to check in an hour earlier, but could not check in before 4p. We just looked around for an hour. No problem. Kitchen had everything you would need.
