Non è la prima volta che passiamo un notte in hotel a Napoli e dunque con una certa sicurezza vi assicuriamo che si trova di meglio a minor prezzo. Nel bagno si trovano saponi e carta igienica usata. Davanti al letto c'è un frigorifero che fa un rumore infernale. L'arredamento è osceno. Unica nota positiva, la posizione a due passi da Castel dell'Ovo ma cmq non basta. It is located in a gated alley off of the main street (stairwell one on your left, top floor). We arrived at the time we had previously arranged but were unsure where to go as there was no signage. We called both of the provided phone numbers multiple times but there was no answer. We tried the intercom at the gate, but again no answer. We finally tracked down someone who lives in the area to point us in the right direction. When we finally found the place, the owner was there so I am not sure why no one answered the phones. The owner was friendly and gave directions. The room itself was fine, clean and cool with working air conditioning. Unfortunately, it was quite loud at night due to street noise. Breakfast was a voucher for a coffee and croissant at the cafe next door. The rest of the stay went smoothly. There is a lift to get you there. The room was very comfortable & clean. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. You get a breakfast voucher for the bar next door that includes a croissant, coffee and a juice. We would definitely stay here again. Il mio ragazzo e io Siamo stati in questo b&b tre notti e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La proprietaria è una signora super gentile e disponibile pronta a dare consigli. Ci ha fornito inoltre il servizio deposito bagagli l ultimo giorno che è una cosa che non fa quasi nessuno ed è sicuramente molto apprezzabile. La camera (il cui letto è stato rifatto tutti i giorni) era ben pulita e con un bagno moderno dotato di asciugamani, bagnoschiuma e Co. Benché le recensioni dicano che la stanza accanto alla reception sia rumorosa, noi ci siamo trovati bene. Probabilmente se ci si vuole alzare alle 10 si avvertono gli altri ospiti uscire, ma a mio parere questo non è un problema della camera. La colazione si fa al bar Pulcinella sottostante e anche lì tutti gentili e colazione buona. La posizione è ottima attaccata a piazza del plebiscito e in una zona molto tranquilla. Accanto al palazzo ci sono bar e negozi tra cui un bancomat (Sanpaolo), un tabaccaio e un supermercato. It is a hard to find (no signs outside just the name on the buzzer) but surprisingly pleasant and comfortable place. Several of my colleagues stayed at much better known hotels at Naples and were complaining endlessly. I paid the fraction of the price for a clean and well-equipped room, in an authentic Napolitano block where I could have a little taste of the life in Naples. The neighbourhood was quiet (apart form the seagulls, but hey:)) and the host ever so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was on the thrifty side, with one sweet pastry and coffee, but if you have a massive dinner at 11pm as the Italians do, you probably won't need more anyway.
