We had a very comfortable stay here. Check-in is completely virtual and was well managed. There are several coded doors—from the street entrance to the interior areas and your room—so I recommend reading your room/cabin information carefully before arriving. Once we understood the layout, it was easy.
There are six rooms. At the top of the stairs, the doorway to the right leads to the common area with a refrigerator, hot plate, table and chairs, along with rooms 1 and 2. To the left is the entrance leading to rooms 3–6. After entering your room code the first time, you receive an electronic key that also controls the overhead lights and air conditioning when you are in the room.
Our bed was firm and comfortable, with nice sheets, a duvet insert and wool blanket. The additional twin bed/seating area was a great bonus. The bathroom was simple and very clean, with a backlit mirror, overhead shower, toilet and bidet. The towels were large and very nice. Shampoo and body wash were provided; conditioner and body lotion were not. There was plenty of closet, drawer and desk space.
Our window overlooked the busy street, yet the blackout drapes did a good job keeping the room dark and surprisingly quiet at night.
The location is convenient - taxi stand and bus station directly across the street, the main train station is only a few blocks away - easily walkable, and you’re also close to the coast and Mercato area. It’s a lively, busy neighborhood with a mix of locals & tourists.
