"Round The Bend" is a charming, traditional Island home with 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, an open layout, and scenic 2nd-floor Atlantic Ocean views. The spacious front porch and back deck are surrounded by lovely grounds spanning a 1/2 acre, with fresh flowering shrubs, climbing roses, and a gated meditation garden for quiet reflection and rest. Just a short walk to the beach (about a quarter mile), the property is the ideal setting for family and friends to gather and enjoy all that a summer vacation on Nantucket has to offer. First floor includes a large, inviting living room with a fireplace and TV; renovated kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances; light-filled dining area for 6 with sliding doors to a spacious back deck for outdoor dining. There's also a bedroom with twin beds, full-tiled bathroom, and an entertainment/game room with 50'' smart TV. The large front porch has seating so you can sit back and take in the ocean breeze. On the second floor are two large sunlit bedrooms, both with water views and soaring cathedral ceilings. Primary bedroom has a king bed, TV and a large en suite bathroom. We had never been to Nantucket before but we really enjoyed our stay! The house was lovely, very clean, and super spacious for 5 people. There was plenty of dish ware and everything you would need to cook. We loved the grill and even did a lobster boil one evening! We loved the Tom Nevers area and how quiet it was compared to downtown. The public beach access was about a 10 min walk from the house and we walked there many times at sunset and during the days. It was so serene and the quintessential Nantucket beach! The house had plenty of beach chairs and towels as well! For 5 people, we never felt on top of one another as the house is laid out perfectly. It was a very seamless stay with no issues and we would definitely stay here again! Around the bend truly felt like home to us and I would highly recommend booking this house! We recently stayed at Round the Bend in Nantucket for two weeks with our four children, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Having rented different homes on the island for over 10 years, we can confidently say this was the cleanest and most comfortably furnished home we've encountered. The house is perfect for families, with a large, well-stocked kitchen that made meal prep a breeze, and spacious bedrooms that provided plenty of room for everyone to unwind. The first floor is expansive, offering ample space for family activities, and the large yard was a hit with our kids, especially the tetherball and the ping pong table in the basement. While the ocean views from the second-floor balcony are minimal, they are still enjoyable, especially when you can sit outside and listen to the waves. The location of the home is ideal—just a 10-minute walk or a few minutes' drive to Tom Nevers Beach, a quick drive to Sconset, and only 20 minutes to town. The privacy and space this location offers, combined with its proximity to some of the best spots on the island, make it a real gem. Additionally, the owner, Ed, was incredibly responsive and helpful. He got back to us quickly, was friendly, and very accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Aug 14, 2018 #### Beautiful Secluded Getaway We have been staying in Tom Nevers for 5 years and this house was the most comfortable cleanest house we have stayed in. It is close to the beach which is a huge plus for our family It is very spacious during our down time for everyone to find a place to decompress. This part of the island is stunning - beautiful secluded public beach yet it was a quick and easy ride to town. We will definitely be back - the property owners were incredibly responsive.
