Mari is a sweetheart and knows the area well. She will offer a suggestion for a place to eat or drink. This was my first time in a hostel. There is no kitchen, but there is a microwave. Bathrooms are clean. Beds are reasonably comfy. The area is quiet, but a short walking distance to Sakae. I have no complaints. This. place seems to attract a lot of friendly Western guests as well, so I was able to easily make friends in the large communal space. They also hold bags for no cost until 2200 on your day of check out. Location is in a more teenaged-geared area, however, so nearly all shops are closed by 2000, same with many restaurants.
