We booked a room for 5 and it was spacious and was pleasantly surprised it has 2 toilets. The sea view was breathtaking. We don’t book the meals as we don’t eat raw food but we had difficulty finding a good eatery outside as there are few amenities nearby and they close early. This place is great for those who drive but inaccessible otherwise even though the hotel has a shuttle bus. The location is excellent, right on the beach. The rooms are large and clean, very good condition and with a private bath. We also had a nice balcony to enjoy the wonderful sunset. The roof top baths are also very nice with a great view to the beach and surrounding area. We would have preferred the water temperature to be a bit hotter. The service is excellent and English was not a problem. The staff speak adequate English. From the moment you walk in the lobby a sense of peace and serenity surrounds you.The onsen was on the top floor in some beautiful rock garden ledges with a great view. You could not find a more peaceful and pleasant place. We had one meal there which was a really nice, tasty omekasa.The only problem with it for someone not from Japan or who can't drive in Japan is that it is in an extremely inconvenient area. We were able to get there by train and then by cab, but with one exception, the dining options are not walking distance. In order to get home, we had to take a bus to a train to another train. This wasn't a terrible problem but we had a lot of luggage. No cabs were available. Uber doesn't go there. If you're able to drive in Japan, this is an excellent place to go.
