Abit older in design, the rooms are more spacious but the air conditioning is using a central heater for winter. So u can’t control the temperature and it gets really hot at night.

Mercure Nagano Matsushiro Resort & Spa
Room was spacious and clean however the location is not convenient if you don’t have a car as it’s around 20mins from Nagano station. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus to the station which is good but the bus only runs about every 1.5h.
