Friday we drove up to Leavenworth for Octoberfest and Saturday we just hung out playing games and talking at the house. The house was a little further out of town than we expected, but that was fine for what we wanted to do. Everything was clean and communication with owners was awesome. We used this as our home base for daily hikes in the surrounding area and took advantage of the nice kitchen to cook our own meals in the evenings. The sky was clear during our stay and the view of the stars and Milky Way at night from the upper deck off the bedroom were fantastic. We would definitely stay here again the next time we come out to the area for some more exploring. ##### Bradford G. I don’t generally set aside time to write reviews (although I know I should!), but this home was so amazingly perfect I just had to let everyone know. We were in town for the Swiftwater Invitational Equestrian competition/show and stayed 5 days. 3 bedroom/2 baths (balcony with upstairs master) immaculately ready for us. Air conditioning available but we ended up not needing it. Owners are the BEST and even check in with you online during your stay to make sure all is as you want it. Wow. It’s one of only 2 homes on the same driveway and only a 10 min drive to Safeway and Equestrian Park. It’s on acreage (can’t see other house) and there’s even a fenced paddock if you have a horse you’d like to bring up for vacation, etc. (Unfortunately we had to use the stalls at equestrian park because we were competing every day and no one wants to load a horse trailer 2x per day lol). Anyway…I cannot recommend this home enough. I am already checking show dates for the rest of this year and next year so I can book it again now and lock in my dates! To stay in the snow, drink, relax, and unwind. We did all of these things. The cabin was great and comfortable. It had the basic amenities but for the price, you definitely get more than what you paid for! ##### Christy M.
