Great seaside feel, it's obvious the owner has put a lot of love into it. Has a large backyard with good views, well stocked kitchen, a couple of entertaining areas. If you arrive later in the day in the summer, I'd recommend you ask the owner to turn the AC units on in the bedrooms before your arrival, to give them a chance to cool down - the upstairs was incredibly hot and would be too hot to sleep in without AC running for awhile before bed. Plus, plenty of room for three friends to enjoy each other's company both inside and out. We spent most of our time on the patio overlooking Mystic or inside watching the storms roll by through the floor to ceiling windows. Although you are just a three minute walk from downtown, the positioning of the house on the double lot provides a serene environment. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The seating area at the back really caught the morning light. We loved the view of Mystic and the river. It was too warm to light the fire pit but the backyard picnic table was great for a late lunch.We found the house comfortable and it was a great location for walking down to Mystic.
