Poor Management
The location was great. However, the description was not accurate. There were no "New renovations"; however, that was not the issue. The wifi service was poor; we couldn't watch an entire movie without waiting 20 min intervals for a "reconnection." Maintenance was contacted within the 1st hour of check-in AS INSTRUCTED, with no response until the next day. Upon speaking with someone at the front desk, she informed me that the wifi is shared between 2 buildings Creating "spotty service." She went on to tell me that wifi would be installed in the building within a month. Therefore, the renter knew that wifi service was not working in the building; however, this was not disclosed in the agreement.
In most cases, a trip to the beach would not warrant the need for wifi; however, we are business owners, and although we took a quick trip to the beach to celebrate my husband's birthday, we were still working remotely. Due to pre-existing deadlines, we were forced to book an alternate hotel close by due to the slow resolution. We only stayed one night here; however, we are being refused a refund for the remaining nights we were forced to stay elsewhere. Also, contacting Vrbo was useless as they provided no additional assistance. We have booked through Virbo many times in the past with no problems. However, this experience will make us think twice before using this service again. If you are booking this location with a need for connectivity, this is NOT the place.
