The location was right next to a public beach access which was not as bad as I thought that it might be but did make for a somewhat crowded beach. The house itself seems a little dated. Pillows were ultra thin, sliding shower doors did not work in downstairs master and the house seemed a bit "weathered". We also had to contend with the bugs outside. Likely normal for summer in SC but you couldn't sit on the back porch at night without having 4 or 5 very large roaches scurrying across the back porch pretty much constantly. Again, likely normal for July in SC but I have stayed at other properties in MB and never had that issue. For the cost of staying there I would have expected a little bit nicer place. We also enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs . But the house needs a good "deep " cleaning. Seemed a little neglected. A larger Tv in the den would also be nice for large families.
