Just a block away, you can enjoy the Family Kingdom Amusement Park with thrilling roller coasters, bumper cars, log flume and several other fun rides. Or spend the day at the Family Kingdom oceanfront waterpark. The downtown Skywheel is less than a mile away from the resort where you can take a ride in one of their air conditioned gondolas and see Myrtle Beach as you have never seen before. And at dusk, the Skywheel begins its light show. With over 1 million LED lights, the display can be seen up and down the boardwalk. The bedrooms do not have windows so that’s nice if you want to sleep in and don’t want the sun waking you. We did have a sewage odor that presented at lunchtime but the owner was quick to respond. We just needed to run water in the bathroom and laundry area. It resolved. The pools are heated very well! We stayed in November and could swim outside. The kiddie pool is not heated though. Thankfully, we didn’t need that one. The pools and hot tubs were clean. This was great for a short stay with my husband and children. Washer/dryer was a lifesaver for keeping beach towels dry. Kitchen was well stocked. Jets in master bathtub didn’t work and tub wouldn’t hold water.We really enjoyed our stay and would book again. Plenty of room for 8, we only had 5, but 3 were teenagers and we still had plenty of room. I was initially hesitent due to some google reviews, but don't let that stop you. The complex is dated, but this condo had been updated with all of the amenities needed and then some. Watching the sunrise every morning from the balcony was the cherry on top! The condo was a perfect size for 5 adults. Appreciated the easy check in and items left for our use. Views were fantastic. Everything was close, including grocery stores and restaurants.
