Great accommodations, great kitchen supplies, great all around. Too early of a check out esp with the check out list of things to do. We appreciated the fenced in yard and the house was truly pet friendly.

Well equipped and clean.

Our family stayed at this home while in town for a wedding. It had everything we needed and was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy our time together. Beds are comfortable and she has thought of everything for the kids too.

Beach Getaway

Lovely house in a perfect location for our family trip to the beach! House was clean and very well-stocked and very comfortable, and a quick 5 minute drive to a wonderful beach! Very pet-friendly as well.

Great location, cozy environment

We used the vrbo as part of a leadership exchange. The location was ideal and we had spaces to gather together both inside and outside. Our host was very accommodating and answered questions promptly.

This house was perfect for our 2024 family vacation! Great location, tons of space, fully stocked and everything you could ever need for a fun day at the beach. The kids loved having an ice cream shoppe just around the corner too. 😊 So much fun!

Family weekend getaway

This property has everything you could possible need or want. It was well stocked, great location close to Lake Michigan and lots of room for everyone. Outside decks were big enough for everyone and we enjoyed the fire pit with lots of wood and even roasting sticks. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back again.

Wonderful Home

We came into town for a beer festival, and we had 8 adults (3 couples) staying in total. We were amazed at the space, its cleanliness and its size. Melinda was very communicative and the perfect host! We will definitely stay here the next time!

Wonderful Accommodations

The property was clean and spacious. Other than the signage about pets, there was no evidence (smells, or hair) that pets were past guests. We took a gamble because two in my party are allergic to dogs, and both did just fine while taking their normal allergy medication. Overall, it was a great stay.

Family Vacation

Thank you for sharing your property. Your online listing really hit the mark with accuracy and we certainly appreciate it! Each year after our family vacation, we ask each other if there was anything negative about the stay we want to share with the owner. This year...nothing that is in the control of the property owner!! Congrats. Things we enjoyed about our stay. Location (a lot of things to do nearby), yard (we travel with dogs) was fenced in and also gates on the patio/deck--fantastic, house (set up was amazing with room for all of us to sit in the living room and dining space), basement set up a huge plus), clean/well cared for and communication with owner was everything you want it to be. Relaxing weekend

We were in town for our nieces college graduation. We picked the perfect place to stay. Exceptional clean, kitchen had everything needed. Beds were very comfortable, linens & towels were fresh. Of course loved the fenced in backyard for our dogs & grandchildren. Walked 10 minutes to enjoy some ice cream. Hope to be back to vist the beach/water. Thank you for sharing your home

Family Get Away

A fantastic place for a family get away! Plenty of space for private space or getting together as a family for cards and games. The fire pit was definitely utilized. Melinda was fantastic in communicating and working with us for a late addition. If you like to include your pet on your trips, this is the place. We are already considering a summer stay. Less than a 1/2 hour to Grand Haven. Thank you Melinda!

This cabin was perfect! This was the first time my entire family (including 2 four legged babies) had a vacation together! The cabin was big enough and so spacious that we weren’t on top of each other. The owner thought of everything! From the pooper scooper to the playpen. It was truly amazing. It is also close enough to the beaches and town that it is the perfect location! We will definitely be back! Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great property to share with family

The home was clean and beautiful upon arrival. My husband and I were there with 2 other family groups. The basement worked out well for a nephew and his wife and teenager. We had 4 adults and a pre-teen in the rooms upstairs. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked. There was plenty of beach towels for everyone. The cornhole game was a plus, and family members played several times. It was a great pet friendly property. Having the fenced in backyard and patio was really helpful. The deck and backyard with firepit were well used by all. The beach supplies in the garage were awesome and very helpful! The property is a short drive to the beach. It's easy to walk to businesses in Lakeside. Communication with the host was easy. When some water backed up in the laundry room floor drain after a rainstorm, I received texts and a phone call promptly. We had full use of all plumbing after the water subsided several hours later.

Family trip to Muskegon!

Wow - Our stay was amazing beyond words! Myself, my husband, my 3 year old daughter, my mom, my brother, my brother in law, my grandmother & her fur baby Charlie, all stayed at Melinda’s home together. As we first entered the home, we were in awe! We couldn’t believe how clean the home was and all of us absolutely admired the decor. The home was so cozy and welcoming. Melinda has accommodations for everyone - even the fur babies and little ones! We absolutely loved the playroom/game room in the basement. My toddler had to try out every toy. I also loved all of the decor around the home, showing Melinda’s love for fur babies. She even supplied a cage and food/water dishes! I couldn’t get over the adorable toddler bed either. The location was perfect, it took us barely 5 minutes to go over to the beach and lighthouse. We also went over to Grand Haven in the evening to eat pizza and watch the musical fountain - that was only a 20 minute commute! The view of the water from the home is beautiful as well. On our day of check out, we ran into a medical emergency with my grandmother who is diabetic. We contacted Melinda in panic because we knew we wouldn’t be able to check out in time, due to how ill my grandma was. Melinda was so understanding and accommodating - she told us she would reschedule the cleaning crew and to take as much time as we need. So not only was the home amazing, but Melinda is an outstanding host! We definitely hope to return. Thank you again, Melinda! :)
