This unit features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, furnished oceanfront balcony with two high-back Polywood chairs and high-top table, washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Two flat-screen TVs (cable), DVD player, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one queen and one double-sized bed, plus a queen sofa bed. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Internet did not work and when replaced half way through trip it still worked off/on. Balcony furniture small and low & could not see over. Covers were stained and old. Enjoyed view by standing, not relaxing. Should get a discount for this!! Things still need updating from hurricane, probably should have waited to rent till everything was completed. Reviewer Comments: Only two complaints about the condition of the property: (1) kitchen faucet dripped constantly; (2) throw rugs in bathroom were in need of laundering. Otherwise, the property was perfect for us and in an excellent location, close to grocery store and restaurants. We couldn't believe how close the beach was! We loved the balcony/deck and the fact you could access the beach from it. I loved how we had access to the beach from the balcony as well. The door handle to the sliding glass door was broken and we had some trouble with ants.
