This unit features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with a dishwasher and microwave, a living room with an adjacent balcony, washer, dryer, and central heat and air conditioning. Three TVs and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king-sized bed and one twin-over-double bunk bed. The common area features a swimming pool, two community grills, and an elevator. Limit two parking passes. No trailers. No golf carts. No smoking. No pets. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo. If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice. One major thing that needs to be changed in this room is that there is not a deadbolt, and a chain for opening the front door. That will need to change if we stay in this condo room again. Also, secure wifi is needed. Everything else was fine. It could also have used a couple more trash cans in the rooms and a bathroom. We traveled from Milwaukee, WI via minivan with our family of 6 and after the 16 hour drive we were very impressed with the rental unit. There was more than enough space for all of us, very well decorated, and in the perfect location for all of the coastal attractions. The provided amenities allowed us to travel lighter, all we needed were cloths and our hygiene items. The cleanliness of the property was in very good condition and the furnishings are all well maintained. You cant ask for a better loacted unit, the property is on the beach which by the way you'll be able to see from the screened in porch in the unit, and you'll be able to enjoy the swimming pool on the property as well. Your walking distance from live entertainment and dining. Our kids really enjoyed the pier which has a full bar for adults and video games and other activities for children as well, and if you get hungry while your up there they have a grill and ice cream for some lunch/dinner/desert...
