This 4,000-square-foot, custom-built premier home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with two dishwashers and microwaves, as well as a refrigerator, washer, dryer, three central heat and air conditioning units, and 10-foot ceilings fitted with ceiling fans. Nine TVs (cable, HDTV in master and living room), broadband Internet access and Wi-Fi are also provided. Other features include an elevator (ground to first floor), a large dining table, game room with Foosball table, gas fireplace, and whirlpool tub in master bath. Sleeping accommodations include four king, four queen, and a double-sized bed, as well as one twin-over-twin bunk bed set. Outdoor amenities include two covered oceanfront decks furnished with rocking chairs, covered front porch with marsh views, private 40-by-30-by-10-foot L-shaped swimming pool with furnished poolside patio and hot tub, outdoor bar, outdoor shower, private walkway to beach, and ample parking (some covered). Please note that bedroom eight includes two twin-over-twin bunk beds and a double bed. Access to this room is only through bedroom five, which has two queen-sized beds. No smoking. No pets. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo. If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park. Reviewer Comments: I found the house nice and it was far enough from the pier that social distancing was easy. Overall, the house and pool were very clean. With the two small drink coolers, there was plenty of space to keep things cool; however, in the future, I would add these to the list of appliances since we were not sure before we got there. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ocean Air is a very nice property and worked well with our diverse family dynamic. We have stayed in another property of this owner and know that they try to take good care of their homes. The biggest drawback is that the upstairs middle bedroom does not have a bathroom and we have all couples and their children staying in each room. Although we are family there were times when it was inconvenient for the couple in that room to access a bathroom. We had to call maintenance (who responded promptly) for the lights in the pool area and one of the bedrooms, which were not working, and only some of those were fixed during our stay. All in all, though, a very nice place to stay and we will return next year. ##### Mary C.
