This property features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Five color TVs (cable), two DVD players, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include two king, two queen and two double-sized beds, plus one queen sofa bed. The three full-baths are located upstairs and are private, the half-bath downstairs is accessible through one of the outdoor showers. A private dock with inlet access, 16-by-32-foot swimming pool, lighted gazebo, hammock, two outdoor showers, and gas grill complete the outdoor living space. No internal stairway. No smoking. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo. If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time , this was our second time at the Shack and because of our growing family, it may be the last time we can fit. However it will be a long time before we forget the great times of the UNO game that lasted forever or three hours ending over spilt chocolate milk and the Shack being filled with laughter, again thanks to the Murrays and staff at Garden City Realty for a great house to stay in. Macie was the 21 champion at pool ball, Maxwell was the cereal killer up to six bowls a day. Maleah, Matilda and Brick were the comedians of a great trip.
