You cannot beat the view from the screened porch. The pool was closed for the season as expected. The location was perfect for a nice walk out the Garden City pier after our Thanksgiving lunch. There are plenty of grocery stores relatively close. The only suggestion I can make is if you enjoy a really big cup of morning coffee you might want to bring large coffee mugs with you. The cups are standard size and we enjoy a giant mug of coffee while overlooking the inlet. ##### Dawn L. Oysters' clusters at low tide, many kinds of birds (we saw a belted Kingfish), many different kinds of beautiful ducks, and more. I strongly suggest bringing binoculars. I wish we did. Sipping our coffee on the screened balcony with a view on the marsh was so peaceful. The place is close to everything in Murrell's Inlet; we were under 10 minutes from all the awesome restaurants (Bovine's was our favorite), 18 minutes from Brookgreen's Gardens (to see their Christmas light show) and 3 minutes from the ocean (we could sometime hear the waves. Loved that an elevator is available. Overall a great place to stay. ##### Nathalie G.
