Carolina Shores II is located 0.5 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Horry County. This four-story complex offers units with either an ocean view or direct ocean front. Jun 16, 2024 Liked: Location Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy #### If it's your last resort There is not adequate parking for the condos, and when I called the property manager, they were not very helpful. They basically said sorry, you have to find your own parking. Although there is free parking right beside the condos, you cannot park there overnight. I found out the hard way by finding a ticket on my truck the next morning. The condo itself was very old-fashioned in the decor. The bathroom made me feel like I needed to get Clorox and clean it before entering. The only plus side is that it is the location of the property. It was right on the beach. Next time I will walk a little to the beach verses staying at a place like this again. It wasn't worth the money or the hassle of dealing with the parking situation. ##### Lucas M. Loved that we were right on the beach especially with the fireworks on the 4th going off right by the pool. We also were just a couple blocks from family that came in from NY. 1 bathroom was tough with extra family in the house, but we made due with what we had. The only real issue was the comforter not getting washed and having constant sand in the bed- our bed was not extremely comfortable. All in all it was a great experience- it was my first time to Myrtle Beach.! Oh, parking was horrible. Thankfully we were able to park at my parents rental most times, but that was after getting a ticket the first night. The building parking was full most of the time. Thank You! So nice to be so close to the beach! The kids enjoyed the pool which is also located Oceanside. This location is just a short walk to the pier where there is an arcade, snack bar, music, karaoke and an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean. There is so much to enjoy right in Garden City, surfing, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, long walks, paddle boarding, Beach combing, sunning, and great places to eat. Brookgreen Gardens nearby is also a great place to visit.
