This unit has a fully-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and microwave, living room with private balcony, washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Three flat-screen TVs (cable), DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one queen and two twin-sized beds, plus a queen-sized sofa bed. Common area includes swimming pool, sun deck, beautifully landscaped grounds and on-site coin operated laundry. Complex is oceanfront, unit is not. Limit one parking pass per unit. No elevators. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo. If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall experience was good but there was a few things that needed to be fixed. Outside chairs broken. Refrigerator out for two days not good when not knowing and buying groceries. The maid needs to clean the closet with the washer and dryer is very dirty and ceiling fans need to be cleaned. Also where the tile meets the carpet (kitchen to dining room) needs to be fixed had to use a rug to cover the tacks. The pool needed to be cleaned on Friday after the trees were trimmed. Reviewer Comments: A friend had recommended this property for our vacation. Good value for the money. Only bad points were children running in the breezeways and suite 110 is on top of all the air conditioning units so it was very hard to find a cool time to sit on the patio without the heat coming off the compressors. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent (2 days) without a refrigerator. The bad part was that a repair man told us that the refrigerator didn't just break, that it had to be broken for some time. The refrigerator should have been replaced 2 months before we moved in. Not good. The solution that seemed to be the fix-all from the Realty Co. was Move to another building. I reported twice before we moved in that the screen door from the master bedroom to the patio was a BIG mess - But it never did get fixed. There was no dresser in the master bedroom - What do you do with your clothes, my daughter lived out of there suitcase for two weeks.
