Then we headed out our Panoramic View room, which was immaculately clean, and the morning breakfast was perfect. We absolutely loved the train that takes you to the castle and downtown. In addition, the restaurant was able to accommodate for my wife’s gluten allergy (Celiac). "We really loved the room. The town is in a scenic location and was very beautiful and quiet. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The beds we comfortable and the room was spacious.
Check in was easy with the key box and the staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was good but more expensive than anticipated. We didn’t realize it was not included in our reservation.
Would definitely stay again."

"Unbelievable experience!! Loved everything about this castle… if you want to stay in a 750+ year old castle with unbelievable staff, stay here! Restaurant was great, food amazing…

"The hotel is located near many small shops and restaurants. Quiet location with easy parking. Be aware that there are many stairs and no elevator...We ate dinner at the restaurant there and were very happy with our meal. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Property lacked amenities ie, bathroom toiletries, tissues, lack of a hair dryer, towels were worn.
Choice of breakfast options was very limited, no fresh fruit & replenishment of options was not attended to adequately.
However, property is a charming country getaway. The gardens are peaceful within easy walking distance from the town & railway station . If you’re not too fussed about the above details, it offers a very pleasant cost effective stay. "

"Unexpectedly wonderful gem in the countryside. Everything is first class. The wellness area and restaurant are top quality. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and charming.
