  • Check out the drone video on YouTube - search "175 Looper Branch Lane, Monterey". This property - "Two's Company" - is the cabin right on the water.

    The only dwelling nestled on the banks of a one and a half acre private lake, this romantic one room suite, one bath cabin is all wood inside and out. It includes a king-size bed with a two-person heart-shaped Jacuzzi beside it.

    A gas fireplace is in the cozy living room and it has a fully equipped kitchen. From the porch you can walk straight down to the dock or to the grill on the other side.

    As soon as you turn in the winding country road tightly hemmed by evergreens, you will begin to feel the difference in atmosphere. You have come apart from the rest of the world and this time is just for you.

    Surrounding this Tennessee cabin rental is the small community of Muddy Pond on The Cumberland Plateau. Located just ten miles north of I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville, you can rendezvous for several days of refreshment, or spend your whole vacation here while exploring the beauty of the Cumberland.


    Reasons You Should Come:
    At the Cabin: Sitting on the porch rockers playing checkers or watching the birds, relaxing on the swing enjoying the beautiful view, walking down quiet lanes holding hands and talking, reading good books, fishing.
    In the Community: Shopping at unique stores, sightseeing while leisurely driving the backroads, eating someone else's cooking, watching the sorghum growing in the fields or being cooked in the fall. We had a wonderful stay at the Two's Company cabin in Muddy Pond. It was clean, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything was well-maintained, and the host was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway.

If you want secluded and an absolutely beautiful view this is the place! First time in 14 years my husband and I have went anywhere, just the two of us. And we couldn’t have picked a better place. Absolutely loved it!

This cabin was amazing! My wife and I spent 3 days here on our honeymoon and it was so wonderful. Even better than the pictures! The cabin is clean and cozy, and the pond is completely private. There's even a small boat that you can row out across the pond. We also wished we had brought fishing gear since it was fully stocked and had so many neat places to fish from. We would definitely return here for a future stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who's wanting a cozy, private, peaceful, and beautiful vacation.

Everything was just lovely and the layout was so comfy. No stairs to climb. So well stocked with every thing you’d need to stay. The view was so relaxing. I totally would come back.

This property was better than the listing. So beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed being outside listening to the birds in the trees and the fish in the water. My husband caught several fish during our stay. We also enjoyed the total peace we had inside. We were able to catch up on some much needed rest. The cabin was very comfortable, the decor was charming, there was plenty of hot water, we had everything we needed to cook with (which we did every meal). We are so excited to return.

We have stayed at this cabin many times when it was owned by the Mennonites. Now with the new owners. We have stayed in the other cabins also on the property and they are all excellent.It is so peaceful and quiet there. You can hear the birds singing and the fish jumping in the pond. I would love to live there. So I would recommend Cabin at the Pond to anyone who would enjoy peace and quiet in the woods.

The cabin was spotless clean. We did use the gas fireplace one cool evening. The instructions in the cabin were very helpful. We loved being right on the pond and spent a lot of time on the covered porch and dock.

We really enjoyed the cabin, had never stayed in a one room cabin. The best part is where the cabin sits, right on the edge of the pond. You can't see anyone else around.

This is a cozy cabin! I was surprised when we walked in and it was more of a studio type set up, with an open bedroom. But it worked out fine for my husband and I. The deck overlooking the pond is wonderful! It is what makes this property special, along with the privacy!! A few things could be improved, the cooking pans are in need of replacing, and some of the floor rugs are warn. The water pressure was not the greatest but the property manager did what he could to make it better. Would we return, yes, because the deck, nature and peace and quiet, won us over. The Mennonite shopping near by is also excellent.
