This property - "Two's Company" - is the cabin right on the water. The only dwelling nestled on the banks of a one and a half acre private lake, this romantic one room suite, one bath cabin is all wood inside and out. It includes a king-size bed with a two-person heart-shaped Jacuzzi beside it. A gas fireplace is in the cozy living room and it has a fully equipped kitchen. From the porch you can walk straight down to the dock or to the grill on the other side. As soon as you turn in the winding country road tightly hemmed by evergreens, you will begin to feel the difference in atmosphere. You have come apart from the rest of the world and this time is just for you. Surrounding this Tennessee cabin rental is the small community of Muddy Pond on The Cumberland Plateau. Located just ten miles north of I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville, you can rendezvous for several days of refreshment, or spend your whole vacation here while exploring the beauty of the Cumberland. Reasons You Should Come: At the Cabin: Sitting on the porch rockers playing checkers or watching the birds, relaxing on the swing enjoying the beautiful view, walking down quiet lanes holding hands and talking, reading good books, fishing. We enjoyed walking the trails, grilling and having family game nights, taking the boat out on the water and using the fire pit. The ponds are now catch and release only. We had to wash our towels and sheets over as they were not cleaned well. The towels had dingy stains and the bedsheets has a sweaty odor. I would advise bringing your own dish cloths and sponges as well. It was a nice stay, but the cleanliness factor was not up to what I expected from a highly rated property. ##### Erika B. Sitting in the rocking chairs & swing on the back porch with the rain hitting the metal roof was theraputic. And listening to the frogs & cicadas at night was very relaxing. I think the fish were full on cicadas because they wouldnt hit any kind of lure, only the worms we bought at the BP station across from Monterey Foods on on 84 on the way in. I think the bass would have hit minnows, but there are no live minnows available within a hour drive of the cabin, so be sure to find them on ur way in if u want them.
