Mt. Haggin Tours and Activities

Check in was easy, staff friendly and efficient. Newer lobby. Unfortunately our room smelled of cigar smoke. Double checked to see if we had a smoking room. We did not. We slept with the window open to try to air it out. Looks to be recently refreshed rooms, but not fully repaired/replaced as needed in some areas of the room like the bathroom door that wouldn’t shut and the security lock on the door. Room appeared to be clean, why they would not air out the room or paint it or something to get rid of the obvious smell is perplexing. They had to have smelled it and still gave it to guest. Did not use the pool or hot tub. Breakfast was OK. Front desk was apologetic about the room.

Couldn’t recommend this place more highly. The rooms were great. Access to each area of the hotel from various locations was a major plus as you didn’t have to walk all over the place to get where you wanted. The pool, hot tub, and spa were great. And the large outdoor fire-pit was awesome. Family of 4, two of which being 12 and 10 yo and everybody loves it. The breakfast selection was massive and good.
