This breathtaking location is perfect for escaping big-city crowds and having the time of your life with your loved ones. Explore the river passing through the backyard, enjoy evenings relaxing around the camp fire, and hike along picturesque trails in the area. Whether its ATV/snowmobile riding, or just getting away from it all, Riverside Retreat is in a great area to do it all! Located just outside of Mountain Wisconsin, Riverside Retreat is a short drive to both Mountain and Lakewood. The house is nestled in the serene and friendly riverside area less than a 5-minute drive away from the Mountain town center. This lovely location offers a perfect getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle and big-city crowds while being just 2 miles from the park and ride trailhead. There are numerous outdoor activities that you can enjoy at any time of year here, such as fishing & ATV/UTV trails in the spring/summer/fall, and snowmobile trail riding in the winter. The trailhead is not directly accessible from the house. To access the trail, guests will need to use the park & ride located 2 miles away. Guests access the property through the main front entrance via a keypad lock 24/7 NOTE: GPS may list the address as 13901 US First Service Rd 2067, Mountain, WI 54149\. This is the same address and is correct. From Wausau: Take Hwy 52 EAST to Hwy 64 EAST towards Mountain, WI. It was perfect! Evey lounging space in the cabin was ideal for gathering and spending quality time together. The porch and backyard space was so relaxing, we spent most of our time just sitting outside listening to the sounds of the river. My now fiance actually proposed to me on the dock in the backyard and it was an absolutely perfect background for that special moment! The hosts are very friendly and responsive. It's a lovely cottage from the road to every room in the home. Furnishing are so "Up North" while being comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The lower level had a huge TV and a pizza oven. The three season room has a goregous view of the river and the sound to go with it. Your stress level decreases a 1000%. We plan to revisit this place many times over. ##### Alice O.
