Fall Break Trip
Loved the place. Beautiful location. Worked great for our family of 4 on our Fall Break fishing trip to Dry Run Creek. Everything was nice, clean, and comfortable.
Great cottage on the White River. Plenty of beds, outdoor seating for our group. Best part is that it was Very private! Plenty of parking, well appointed home, and grills for outdoor cooking made our stay great. Saving this one for a future trip.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy making family memories! Our host Darcie was top notch! The kids playroom and added games and fishing supplies was a wonderful surprise! Everything plus some was included in this stay!
We stayed for a few days and loved it. So peaceful, very clean, friendly people. We enjoyed the view of the river, had a deer walking around in the water cooling off one afternoon. Deer, ducks, rabbits, and of course world class trout fishing. Thank you for the hospitality! Will stay there again!
Absolutely perfect if you fish & want to be miles from anywhere else. No cell reception, which is great for those that want to be a little off the grid (though wifi was super-quick.
Great communication and easy to check-in. Very impressed with the whole place.
Highly recommend.

Extended weekend
The house was perfect. This was our second year on the white river and we loved this house because it was more private and less river traffic. The fish were biting well. Everything we needed always at the house plus fun with horse shoes and corn hole. We will stay again

The Best!!
This will have been our fifth stay at this property and this week I plan to reserve another two weeks in 2024.The manager, Darcie, is stellar and takes care of everything in a very timely manner. The relaxing view from the house plus the large terrace overlooking the White River can't be beat. We also really enjoy the fact that it is secluded without another property in sight making it really feel like it is your own hideaway.Very well equipped and also spotless - it can't be beat -- just let me get my reservations in before you so I don't miss out!
From the moment we entered until we left the experience was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was really well appointed. There were lots of indoor and outdoor games. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the river. We were fly fishing and went down to Buffalo City to fish. We really enjoyed having the garage to store our rods and to outfit them before we went fishing.
The hostess was wonderful and checked up with us to make sure all was ok.
This was our second trip to the area and our first in this home. One word - privacy! This location was perfect for unwinding and unplugging. So serene and relaxing. The home had everything you needed and more. Darcie was excellent with communication and ensured we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again in the future! It was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend to those looking to stay in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Relaxing and Secluded getaway
The hosts and the home are absolutely perfect for a family getaway with littles in tow. Well maintained property and fully equipped home made for a relaxing stay. Sadly, there isn’t a safe and convenient way to get into the River, especially with toddlers in tow; so pack your water shoes and be ready to climb down and up when the river is low. No actual beach and downed tree logs everywhere. Other than that, it was a wonderful and comfortable home with very communicative hosts!
We met our friends here for a guys fishing trip. It was my husband's birthday and wanted to do something he would enjoy for his birthday. The house is wonderful, very well set up (love the labels on everything) and very peaceful. The guys fished out the back of the house the first day and caught a few, but ended up driving over to Cotter (Rim Shoals) where they really caught their fish! Could not have asked for a better place to kick back, relax and enjoy some great time with great friends! Thank you and we hope to be back next year!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. There’s nothing like the beautiful symphony of birds while enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the river. I saw a pileated woodpecker for the first time in my life. It was absolutely gorgeous. We also experienced several deer including a mom with a pair of twin fawns still with spots. If you need something from town, it’s just a short drive , not far at all. The house was very clean and very well kept. The beds were very comfortable which provided a restful nights sleep! I definitely will stay here again!
We loved this home. Very private. Plenty of room for our family of six. Beautiful deck/patio area overlooking the river. Large yard - we played baggo, whiffle ball, baseball and football. We even caught trout right from the fishing dock when the water was right. The house is located near several river access points if you are headed out onto the river. Can't think of anything we needed that was not provided by the host. They even provided fishing bait and tackle. Would stay here again without hesitation.
The property was well maintained with plenty of kitchen supplies and other necessities. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the scenery. Beautiful views of the White River.
The host had the home very welcoming for our arrival. Everything was clean and well organized. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware and spices. The beds were very comfortable. The deck was very peaceful and relaxing with the ability to watch the White River pass by.
This place was wonderful. It was clean, well stocked,Very private and peaceful. Our hostess , Darcie was in touch with us at every phase of our stay which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again. Caught 1 little fish. 1 more than I caught on our last river trip lol.
