Mount San Giorgio Tours and Activities

It was very comfortable for our family of four. It is located near the lake and has easy access to to public transportation. Desiré was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay nice and comfortable. Grazie! Breakfast was great. We would definitely stay there again!

Villa Sassa is NOT a 4 star hotel, as advertised, 2 stars at best. BE WARY - the current property is not what is represented in the marketing pictures or description. We were “upgraded” to a “grand suite” which had the feel of a college dorm room before students move in with their stuff. It felt like an empty apartment or one that had been robbed. The primary bedroom had minimal furniture with a bed, Ikea-type white laminate side tables with cheap lamps, a standing floor fan in the corner and 1 small picture over the bed. The bare walls throughout the suite are all white with scuff marks. The living room was very sparse and worn. It had one old, well worn couch, a glass dining table with worn upholstered chairs, a small tv on a cheap black tiny table whose laminate was peeled off on one of the legs and 1 picture on the wall. The terrace had a beautiful view of Lugano, however the condition of the terrace was appalling - terrible deteriorated table with uncomfortable aluminum chairs. The planters on the edge of the terrace (and all the terraces on the property) were bare and did not look like they had held any plantings in years. The exterior of the building was filthy, covered in black streaks and the hallway carpeting is filthy and well worn. This property has been neglected for many, many years. Front desk said they were going to start renovations in 20i28, at the earliest. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.
