"No lift in this area of the casino was a big surprise as I have stayed in other parts and even in the same building but last time we had a room on the 5 level and didn’t need lift as it was on level with the entrance. Very dated but quite and a really great price so we got help from staff and family to help with our cases to go to level 4 which is really a basement area but nice outlook to a garden. The toilet made strange gluub gluub notices when we used it but it didn’t block. Shower is over a bath but it had a grab handle and water pressure was great. Room was clean tv worked well nice size for room good value for money but I will ask for a ground floor room next time. Easy to catch bus into Hobart. "

"Really well appointed, coffee tea etc, super clean.Great views. you think from the picture that it is closer to the coast than it is. Plus side of this is that it was very quiet, great sleeping.All was good, long way from Hobart centre. Millipedes upstairs and downstairs bathrooms."

"Comfortable house with amazing views of Hobart and the Derwent river. It fitted the 5 of us well. The house would not suit anyone with mobility issues as it is on a very steep hill. Buses are close by and Ubers easy to come by to get to Hobart central. Note that there is no spa “pool” but rather there are 2 spa baths. A lovely stay in a very beautiful location. "

"The host responded quickly with polite chat. The pool was dirty and never reached the upper water level. The pool was dirty and we did not want to use it. We booked this place with the amenity of a working pool and the pool was not working. This was upsetting as we expected to use a pool as it was listed as an amenity. This property is a rental property with not any personal touches and place was dirty and dusty. The home only had a cursery quick cleaning, but needed a deeper clean. I would not recommmend this place.I would ask that the pool be removed from the listing.Most importantly, the place was quite dusty, all blinds were dusty, dust on all surfaces, closets dusty needed to be wiped out, sofa was smelly like a dog slept on it, and not enough laundry soap. We had to purchase laundry soap. There were previous reviews that stated the pool was not working and the place was dusty, these previous reviews were absolutely accurate. I mentioned the previous reviews to the listing management at booking time and specifically requested a thorough cleaning and the pool be in working order. This was not the case, and disappointing for our stay, and we felt we overpaid."

"I like the big kitchen, lots of rooms, especially the view. The inside of the house is clean but quite dirty outside the house. Complete with amenities. The only thing which I don't like is the access code, which was given wrong, so we waited and get the right code to be given to us. The house where it is also situated, is a bit steep, so it is hard for a big car to get in and out. Also, the other screen door at the back was not closing. "

"We had a lovely stay at this property last week. The house is an older-style home and could use a little TLC in places, but it was clean, very spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including a full laundry (with washing powder provided) and good wifi and mobile signal.The view was absolutely awesome and definitely a highlight. Communication with the host was great. Tips for future guests: the area is very hilly, so we recommend backing up the driveway in 4WD or park on the street. Pick up your basics from Coles and Dan’s, just 5 mins away.Overall, we had a great stay and appreciated the space and the beautiful outlook."

"We loved seeing the little wallabys and pademelons in the yard every night. That was one of the highlights of our trip to Hobart! Other renters should be aware that the steep driveway and sharp turn at the top are not for the faint of heart. For us, seeing the wildlife was worth the difficult driveway.Our family of 5 adults had plenty of space to spread out, the property had a nice view, and the kitchen was well stocked.There is a creaky, metal spiral staircase going down to one of the bedrooms, which would not be appropriate for elderly or those with mobility issues, but for my 30 year old, it worked well."
