My room was cold on a hot day at arrival. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. A frequent visitor to budget motels, I was impressed by the room. There was this one flying insect (like a gnat) but that's probably not the hotels fault. It is on a busy highway near a major city, so road noise is to be expected. As a solo woman, I was approached in the parking lot at least twice. This is the second stay here for us so it's not terrible. The deterioration of the building is noticeable especially in the stairwells. The bathroom door wasn't structurally sound. That having been said, we had an acceptable stay and the staff was pleasant enough.
