Secluded mountain feel, but 5 minutes from I-40\. Minutes from Lake James, and a short drive to the eateries/ entertainment of Morganton or Marion. Access all the amazing activities that WNC has to offer including hiking, biking, boating, tubing, swimming, kayaking, fishing, with beautiful weather & scenery year round from this convenient location or sit on the front porch & enjoy the beauty. The space Hand hewn logs from 1800s reconstructed into the cutest fairy tail cabin with updated finishes throughout gives you the timeless rustic feeling but also of fresh and clean at the same time. Guest access Guests have access to entire cabin as well as the property it is on. Please note for tall people, the doors to the bedroom and bathroom only have 6'0" clearance. Watch your head! Additional rules Please strip the beds that have been slept in when checking out. This is intended to be a family friendly space, not for parties or large gatherings. Our neighbors will let us know if there are any concerns. The outdoor security camera is simply to check if there is a concern over vandalism or large gatherings. This place was immaculate and they had so many food staples it was easy to cook meals. There was a heat wave, so we didn’t spend much time outside, but there was ample shade, pretty landscaping, grill, fire pit & wood. Internet was fast even with 5 people online at times. We had kids going to camp at NCSSM and it was about a 15 min, easy drive.
