The ground floor open plan design is both practical and elegant, with whitewashed oak beams and gentle green accents, creating a sense of rustic countryside charm. Bi-fold doors and full height windows to the rear of the barn create a light, airy living space, opening onto a gravelled courtyard. The comfortable outdoor seating is perfect for soaking up the sunshine and creating a sense of seamless indoor-outdoor living. Tucked away in a peaceful corner of the Cotswolds, The Barn at High Gables is situated at the top of the village of Bourton-on-the-Hill, adjacent to Batsford Estate and 2.3 miles from Moreton-in-Marsh. Village amenities include a local shop, inn, church and Bourton House Garden. The village provides access to many scenic walks, across the rolling countryside. Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage in Bourton-on-the-Hill is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed.
