Upscale luxury in a beach house with panoramic seascape vistas. This oceanfront cottage has been floor-to-ceiling renovated with an upscale modern coastal vibe that was designed by Susie to keep all different styles of vacationers in mind. The beach house is completely private. And we are located well away from the crowds -- often the beach is completely empty in front of the house, allowing complete enjoyment of the white sandy beaches. Clean lines and custom furniture let the stunning 180-degree ocean views do all the talking. Two sets of sliding double doors open up to a large sunbathing deck with plenty of furniture to enjoy the ocean breeze (and tan without the sand), while sipping your favorite beverage. Outdoor dining for two is also recommended if you like romance, as you have an unobstructed view of over 2 miles of coastline (great for taking vacation pics). For your convenience, we boast the shortest walk to the sand you can buy on the island if you feel like walking down to the beach to check on your family. But where Susie's Hideaway East really shines is when you wake up from a vacation siesta to the unbeatable views of the sand and ocean from our custom-made napping couch. Linens and towels are included. Also we are only 5 minutes on a walking path from a wine store, grocery stores, and restaurants. Susie's Hideaway East features all new kitchen with granite countertops, new appliances, new flooring, new bedding, ceiling fans, dishwasher, washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, and wireless high-speed Internet access. Susie's Hideaway is a duplex (with two sides, East and West). This listing is for the East side. It is completely private -- there are no shared or common areas. And we are located well away from the crowds -- often the beach is completely empty in front of the house, allowing complete enjoyment of the white sandy beaches! This duplex was super clean, completely stocked with anything you might need, and beautifully decorated! It was very helpful to have phone chargers in all 3 bedrooms and living room. There were plenty of towels, wash cloths and bathmats. The starter bag had trash bags, dishwasher detergent, bar soap and Keurig coffee pods with sugar and creamer. There was extra dish soap and handsoap under the sinks too. We also enjoyed the rocking chairs, high top chairs and picnic table on the porch. What a great view sitting there. My family has been going to Emerald Isle for decades. We are very familar with the island and many of the beach homes on the island. I found our stay at Susie's Hideaway to be one of the best cottage stays yet! The two have really put so much thought into making you feel like you are at home and immediately can begin your normal routine with ease (which is especially nice with 3 young kids). You really only need to pack the minimum as they have set the house up to be so comfortable and all the essentials and many extras are provided. I was impressed with how clean and comfortable the house was. The view is gorgeous. The location is ideal! I can't say enough nice things about this sweet couple and their beautiful home. The home is as described and is delightful- clean, nice decor, and inviting. William and Susie were very accommodating and responsive to all our questions. They provided information on local restaurants and attractions- very helpful! We would love to return and spend more summers there and maybe even a winter or two. Highly recommend! ##### Darin B. From the first impression when we got to the house and opened the door. The location is perfect. The house was very clean.
