Bring your boat, jet skis, bikes or golf cart—there’s plenty of room in the driveway! Many modern amenities are offered, including: \-Paved parking \-Large porch with built-in furniture and grill \-Washer and Dryer \-Newly renovated kitchen, fully stocked with cookware \-Dishwasher \-High speed Wi-Fi \-AppleTVs with YouTubeTV This two bedroom, one and a half\* bathroom house has been renovated over the past few years with major upgrades to the kitchen in 2020\. There is a large porch and yard for entertaining, and a large driveway to accommodate multiple vehicles as well as trailers, boats and jet skis! The kitchen is fully stocked with quality stainless and nonstick cookware, spices and all the basics. When you’re done cooking, enjoy the ease of using the dishwasher! A front load washer and dryer are available for use as well. Detergent and dryer sheets are included! The master bedroom offers a queen bed, new in 2021, and plenty of closet space. The loft-style bedroom upstairs has two memory foam full beds, new in 2021\. There are both gel and gusseted pillows available, so pick whichever you prefer! The full bath downstairs has a tile shower with a divine rain shower head. A quality soap and shampoo will be provided. \*The ceiling in the half bath upstairs follows the pitch of the roof and therefore the headroom is limited. It’s perfect for kids, but an adult male may find it a little bothersome. I have a virtual guidebook that can be viewed on your smartphone, tablet or laptop that contains my personal recommendations for the area, house rules, check-in procedures and anything else you could ever dream to know about the house, neighborhood and surrounding area! I will send this to you once a booking is confirmed so you can begin planning your stay! This coastal cottage is in Bayshore Park, Cape Carteret, which is a waterfront neighborhood with beautiful views of Bogue Sound, the ICW and Emerald Isle! The neighborhood has four waterfront parks for water access (kayak launch, fishing etc.) including a small pier that can be used for crabbing or fishing! All four parks are a very short walk from the house. Swansboro and Emerald Isle are both less than 10 minutes away, and Morehead City is only 20 minutes up highway 24\. There are several boat ramps, water accesses and nature tails close by. Cape Carteret, Swansboro and Emerald Isle each have a large selection of renowned restaurants of all price points, and I would be glad to offer recommendations based on your specific taste. Golfin’ Dolphin and Mac Daddy’s offer mini golf, bowling, go-carts, a driving range, arcade games and even a high ropes course right here in town! Bring your boat! The house is located just a short distance from several boat ramps including Broad Creek, Cedar Point, Emerald Isle and Shell rock Landing...it just depends on where you’re wanting to fish! (I am a professional mariner by trade, so I’d be glad to give you any pointers about getting around on the water and maybe even a few fishing tips!) \*\*\*Hurricane Season disclaimer: In the event a named storm is forecasted to impact the area, and a mandatory evacuation is issued by the local or state government, you will be required to leave the house. Hurricane shutters will be put up, and the house will not be accessible until after the storm passes. The cottage is just like the pictures and Andrew is a very attentive host. We appreciated the updated cottage with the coastal feel. This was our second time staying at this property. The home is quiet, the neighborhood and neighbors are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed fishing down at the dock every day, and daily beach time by 10 min car ride. The home itself is beyond cozy, well thought out and clean. Andrew was a great host, making you feel at home. Andrew was such a gracious host and his online guidebook was very detailed, which came in handy. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and was very clean and so tastefully decorated. We loved the nautical theme! In addition to the beach, which is a short drive from Cape Carteret, there were so many things to do in the area. Will definitely visit again! ##### Christine A. Property was very clean which is a big one for us. The cottage was very well equipped with extras if you forgot. There were a few very minor things that I did let Andrew know about but this did not affect our stay. Andrew is a great host & super easy to communicate with. Outside deck & grill great for what we needed & beds were comfortable. We will stay here again 100% next time we visit our friends in the neighborhood. Close to the beach by car. Mind you we stayed off season so the traffic was not too mad. We did drive North about 20-20 mins for a visit to Fort Macon that we all enjoyed! Beaches are great! ##### Shanon H.
