Montrose Vacation Packages

This was my first time in KC and I was visiting Worlds of Fun which was so close to the hotel, which was very convenient, especially due to the immense heat I could return back to the hotel to cool off. I checked in after 9pm, I waited a couple of minutes for front desk agent to return to the desk, the lady was very friendly, told me about the amenities, and asked if she could call to check in as it was getting late. I had room 330, which was by the back stairs, which I used more than elevator due to parking being closer to this end, instead of the entrance, and there is only 1 elevator. My room had an odor though, a musky humid scent, that lingered for my 2 night stay, and while I adjusted to it, that was a bit gross. When she called, I mentioned the odor, and how two lights were not working (above door went out minutes after arrival and one on side of bed was out), and she didn't offer to change my room, just said enjoy your stay. Otherwise, the room was fairly clean (found a couple hairs on sheet), fridge worked well, great AC, excellent water pressure in shower, and the room was spacious (King Suite). The shower had very hot water but sink was only cold water. The connecting room door was UNLOCKED and I am glad I checked it soon after arriving! That should always be locked each turn over... Breakfast had plentiful options, eggs and sausage weren't great, but I LOVED the fresh fruit cups with blueberries, melons, and grapes! If room didn't smell I'd rate it a 5/5.

Hotel was very clean - was just after Argentina left so the hotel was still had their decor all over, but that was pretty cool. Room was great - except the AC wasn't consistent throughout the entire room, likely because of the rooms shape. Staff were very helpful, especially as it concerned parking. The day I left was the last day of free parking, though their back lot was not available during that time because of the break-down of the facility from Argentina's stay, so perhaps their back lot will remain free parking. All around a great hotel, with access to the tram, riverwalk, and right next to CPKC stadium.

I am still waiting for reimbursement for no damages of a $100 hold on my credit card.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. This charming rental is comprised of Greek orthodox antebellum architecture, and even had a personal elevator to our room. The breakfasts were elegant and wonderful. We also really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. Great choice!
