Monticello Country Club

Nothing was maintained the shower wouldn’t shut off. The towels are so thin you can see through them so I couldn’t dry myself. I was there for four days. They never cleaned my room at one point they hung towels on the door with a roll of toilet paper, but never went in my room to clean the guide that sits out in the front apparently maybe the owner I come in on the same flight every time this time he charged me $25 for early check-in. I said you’ve never done that before. He told me that corporate changed the rules. Well, I have one question the corporate change the rules on cleaning rooms cause I never did mine. I went down and asked on two different days. They said they would be down and never showed so yes, it was terrible. The Wi-Fi you can’t even stay connected. I’ve complained in the past about that. The owner says he’s never had a complaint that ever and that’s a lie because even the staff has told me that the Wi-Fi is terrible. I was there when he set up breakfast the other day put out two bananas for a full hotel put out two Bananas so it’s a joke.

Once I walked in to the registration area, I knew this could be a bad decision! I offered the person at the counter the conformation from you (Expedia) she replied; I don't need that we aren't connected to them! I can tell you what i got.... After seeing what she had, I chose the twin beds to place my thing on the other. The chairs were fabric and dirty, dust was all over the ceiling and air conditioner vents, no fire alarm, no phone, the remote for the TV didn't work. The vanity was coming apart, the water pressure was extremely low to a pencil-thin stream! you could not fill the basin to wash! We realized that it had gotten to late to try to find another place to stay, so we tried to make the most of it! Then the bugs and spider in the bath tub didn't help, luckily I had Off Spray and Lysol Spray. We had very little sleep because of the bugs and the toilet started with the phantom flush-sound all night long. It was safer to stay because we didn't know the area, the next hotel was 30-40+ miles away from our destination. This place was the closest! We will take an extra day if necessary to review the accommodations to a small town! Pls note: We are due a refund!
