Nice quiet location with great beach. Breakfast was very good. Rooms a bit small for the price paid and was the only accommodation in Greece that didn’t provide complimentary water in the room (was also our most $$ accom) male staff member at the beach unhelpful
Staff is very kind and friendly. Hotel is at remote area near a small village only few restaurants available. It is very good holiday option for people would like to have calm and chill holiday. Breakfast was nice. The sea is excellent in the mornings when it’s not wavy. Only bad point for us was the bathroom. The room itself is fine but bathroom was very poor maintained. They need to fix and/or renovate shower room and adjacent water units.
Need a perfect place for R&R? If your answer is YES, the answer is definitely the Alas Resort & Spa. It is at the end of a quiet road near the village of Elia. It is totally self-contained with a sand beach, rocky beach for sunbathing, a fantastic pool with a bar nearby, an excellent restaurant, and a beautiful spa. The rooms are great (ours was small but faced the Mediterranean). The staff was totally accommodating and nice. It was a great choice for us and can be for you too.
Lovely, relaxing hotel with good food and a great position on the coast. Lovely friendly staff; small enough to be personal, big enough to have great facilities.
The place was clean, with a friendly staff and the breakfast was the best we had on the peninsula. The complaint we have about the place is in the description of the location. This place is 40 min from Monemvasia and the name suggests different. There’s a nice pool, access to the beach and spa treatments are available. If you can transport this place at a different location, it’d be awesome.
Awesome mini resort break in the middle of our holiday. Great food. Even better wine! Totally relaxing day by the pool. Awesome sunset!

Disliked: Staff & service
5 star ryanair
A 5 star hotel that acts like ryanair adding cost for pretty much everything. Its a nice location and room was fine but paying extra to get a cappuccino just felt off.
This hotel and location was absolutely exceptionally superb from start to finish, I can’t fault it in the slightest. The staff made it extra special with their willingness to help even in the situation of an absence suitcase- which we made sure didn’t spoil our holiday. The attention to detail was amazing, and nothing was too much for the staff to help with. The spa was a lovely experience and the ladies were very friendly and attentive. All in all we enjoyed the resort and would highly recommend it.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Our room was really tiny. We couldn't even open our suitcase in the room! I honestly expect bigger rooms when I book a 5 star hotel. Overall everything was very clean.
The room was poorly soundproofed. We could hear our neighbors having fun at night and the receptionists talking. In the lobby was a cigarette smell, so I suppose, that the staff has been smoking inside.
The gym was in a terrible condition.
We really liked the pool area and the beach.
The breakfast, that was offered, was pretty good (some things were pretty cold when we arrived at 10am)
Alas is a great place for you couples, old couples or families in general. At Alas you have access to the pool, beach, spa, sauna, jacuzzi. The staff is great and Demetria the manager is great! All staff like the bar attendant Dimitri, Stravroula the server are all great! If you plan a vacation in the area stay at Alas.
The breakfast and dinner was very good. We stayed in a partial view room no 101, unfortunately the noise from the either lift or the resorts air conditioning main unit was unbearable all night (and we did have our air conditioning on) which spoilt the stay. location by the sea excellent.
Beautiful sea view from our room with 2 balconies.
Plenty of places to sit on sun loungers by the pool, on the small beach or on the bank overlooking the clear sea.
We ate in the hotel the first night, lovely setting but the portion of the moussaka was the smallest we have had in Greece.
I would recommend a stay here to have a relaxing break.
