Stunning spacious room with a sea view. Serene

Hotel is in nice location on the beach. However some staff were a little standoffish & not very attentive. Solo traveller rooms are ok size, beds are small singles not very comfortable. Showers are exceptionally small, I have been on cruise ships with bigger shower space. When door is closed there is very little room to manouvre or wash properly. Location of single rooms right next to lifts, therefore guest movement, children screaming, running along corridor made for a very restless stay. Very little in the way of food and beverage services and due to remote location, car is needed to drive to nearby restaurants and bars most of which 10-15 minutes away. Buffet dinner at hotel is €35 per day. Sorry but I would not stay here again.

We arrived early and were offered use of the pool, changing room and lunch. Our room was ideal, and well fitted (although no kettle, available on request). It was nice and quiet, both by the pool and in the room, and an easy 5 minute walk to the beachfront with cafes, bars and shops. We had a car and parking was easy, so it made this hotel an ideal base to explore the Salento area and Gallipoli. All the staff were friendly, both on the desk and at breakfast which was a buffet style with some hot options. On departure we were again offered an room extension, use of the pool all day and the Spa to freshen up. All in all could not be faulted.
