My issues with this place are with EXPEDIA. Foreign Tourists please read: The listing did not clearly state that the room did not come with a bathroom OR that there was no shower in the building. Each floor has 1 male and 1 female washroom. The female washroom has 2 toilet stalls. There is no shower in the building. To bathe you must go next door and use the Amanohashidate Hotel's onsen. This onsen is amazing but it's inconvenient to have to go outside of your hotel to bathe. There is zero soundproofing in the room. You can hear and easily get disturbed by those opening their doors and walking/talking in the hallway. Each night I had to sleep using my noise cancelling headphones. There is no elevator. Be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Access to Amanohashidate Hotel onsen was my favourite part of this trip. Overall the room and washroom were clean, and staff were kind, and they provided regular extra towels. Very close to Amanohashidate station, easily 3 mins walk. The double room has its own toilet and bathroom ( together, a small one). I think there is no elevator, I had to bring my luggage on the stairs ( but i stayed on level 2). I just found it odd that it didn’t have an elevator when rooms are up on the 2nd and 3rd floor- I had to carry my luggage up the stairs (luckily, mine was on the 2nd floor). Having that many rooms and only have one shower to share for the whole building is not a good situation to be in as well. I know there’s free onsen privileges from the Amanohashidate hotel across but that’s also a hassle to get to as well.
