The host ladies were very friendly and tried their best to communicate with us. It’s a local traditional inn so don’t expect hotel style amenities and rooms. Only complaint was the noise from neighboring room(s): you wouldn’t hear their conversations but their foot steps and door closing. Hope future visitors would learn to be quieter in such an older, traditional Japanese inn. The property looks old but it was well maintained. Everything is clean albeit old. The only downside is we book a room for 5 pax which has 2 twin beds and a room for 3 futons. But we can only fit 2 futons as the big table took up space and there’s no where else to place it. So my youngest gal squeeze with me on the bed instead.
