The cabin was great, and the host was responsive but after traveling all day from California to arrive at the wrong cabin in a snow storm was extremly stressful. We spent over an hour trying to enter the address listed on VRBO and in the VRBO communication emails. We had no cell reception and had to leave and drive back into town to get ahold of the host. After leaving we were finally able to communicate with the host and get into the correct address. The cabin was nice and cozy with great views but there was zero household supplies and no bath towels. We had to make the long drive back into town and buy everything like bath towels, paper towels, trash bags, and other essentials. We also had to shovel snow off the long entry steps to the cabin wich were completely covered in snow and unsafe for anyone especially my elderly mom with limited mobility. I understand it's a relatively remote location but for the high rental price one would expect at least some basic accommodations. There is plenty of space for everyone to be together while allowing space for some quiet time. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with almost everything you need (3 crockpots, waffle maker, nesco, just to name a few things). The week we were there, fishing was slow but the lake was awesome to boat around. The only caution we have is that if you have people with limited mobility, the main living room is sunken with one step down and there is not a handicapped accessible door into the home. ##### Carol L. Private boat launch was a plus as we had various "toys" to put in the water. The cabin has a great layout and it has a beautiful interior. It has two sets of washing machines/dryers which came in handy, I wish they had two fridges with the number of people we had, but the one they had is pretty large so we made it work.
